This 75-minute class is suitable for anyone just starting out on the lyra or wanting to learn more postures and sequences. We'll cover various entrances, fundamental postures, and short flows, along with stretching and conditioning. Circus arts have always been about creativity, strength, and expression — and we strive to make this a safe and inclusive space for all genders, backgrounds, and abilities.
In addition to being a fun and creative outlet, lyra is also great cross-training for climbing and other athletic pursuits. It helps build strength, flexibility, coordination, and mind-body awareness — skills that translate to whatever moves you. Come play and find joy in the air — there's a place for you!
